What the science about the your name?

Well my name is actually nickname of pjay which I used way back and it came from preacher j...don't laugh I was 13-years old when I made that name up.

What motivated you to get into this industry?

I've always loved to do music and sing. I also have had this want to share my thoughts with people.

What was your first single/recording?

In 1993 my cousin (mörkö) and I did two songs at a radio studio and the lyrics were in finish. We had done songs before (1990-91) but never recorded them.

What was your favorite single/recording you did?

Spring maxi-single independent tape in 1995 it had 6 versions of two songs that were in English.

What should we expect from you in the future?

We continue to good music with good and positive feeling behind of it, and add quality and better music every time we come out with an product or should I say piece of art.

What instruments do you use?

We have old 70's electric piano and samplers and other studio stuff...keep it secret.

How would you classify your style as an artist?

I like poetry and unlimited styles in rhyming, trying to follow the music with styling that makes it sound in harmony.

What artist(s) have you not worked with, but would like to?

dose of anticon, radioinactive, 2mex, lyricsborn, 3np...and whitewash...the list could go on and on.

Growing up, who do you think was a few of your biggest musical influences?

It must be west coast underground movement, that has influenced me the most.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

We have our own label and vinyl press and we make 10 lp's a year...naw I'm living simple life and I hope I'm better man.

What do you feel is the toughest part of the music industry?

To be you and find you in all this pressure and expectations that others give.

What would the ultimate reward for you be?

People's attention.

What message are you trying to get across to fans?

Well I don't believe in this fan thing, but to all people stop and listen for a bit. Come conscious and don't get proud too much.

Do your friends and look at you differently now?

I always stay little boy with bad taste of humor although I'm 24 now.

If someone were to look in your CD player or tape player right now what would be in it?

It would play the song I don't know, do I?

Personally what does hiphop mean to you?

Personal way the do what ever I feel with no boundaries and limits.

Who do you feel is your biggest influence and why?

Sup. When I had just started listen hiphop music sfc's phase 3 was the bomb that changed my life. That dude has done some music.

How do you feel your music will effect its listeners?

I hope people could relate to it and that way be touched. First feel then try to understand.

If you could change one thing in world, what would it be?
Selfishness into loving others and respecting others.

What would you like to say to all the new artists in the game?
Remember to lay down the basis. Good comes slowly, don't hurry. There's so much crap out there because people don't have an clue what they want do or they aren't ready.
